System Roles and Permissions

FlexNet Code Insight 2019 R1

The following table lists the system roles and associated permissions used to manage the FlexNet Code Insight system. The initial FlexNet Code Administrator (and any subsequent administrators) assigns these roles to other FlexNet Code Insight users by using the Manage Permissions dialog accessed from the Administration Users/Permissions tab. (For details, see “Managing User Permissions for System Activities” in the “Configuring FlexNet Code Insight” chapter in the FlexNet Code Insight Installation and Configuration Guide.)

One user can be assigned multiple roles.

The Project Creation role is controlled by the Allow All Users to Create Projects option on the Manage Permissions dialog. If Yes (default), any user has this role. If No, only users assigned this role can create projects. (For details, see “Managing User Permissions for System Activities” in the “Configuring FlexNet Code Insight” chapter in the FlexNet Code Insight Installation and Configuration Guide.) Users who have this role can also create project folders in the Projects list.
