About Inventory-Only Scans

FlexNet Code Insight 2020 R2

FlexNet Code Insight has the ability to scan files on a remote system and manage the inventory items created from this remote location. This type of scan is referred to as an inventory-only scan. It allows you to integrate automatic package-level scanning into your build process using a Code Insight scan agent plugin, such as the Code Insight Jenkins plugin. This integration includes automated package discovery and targeted components. For additional information about automated analysis, see the Automated Analysis chapter.
