Testing an SCM Instance

If you add an instance or edit any of the fields associated with your SCM instance, you should test the connection to ensure the repository is responsive.

To test your connection, do the following:

1.

If you are not already on the Version Control Settings tab on the Edit Project, navigate to it.

Select the Instance tab for the connection you want to test.

3.

Click Test Connection to confirm that the repository is reachable. After a moment, Code Insight displays a success message dialog if the connection is successful. If the connection is not successful, ensure that your entries on the Instance tab are correct and click Test Connection again.
