Jobs Queue

The following enhancements to the Code Insight Jobs queue are now available. (For complete information, refer to “Monitoring the Code Insight Jobs Queue” in the Code Insight User Guide.)

Support for Project Imports and Remote Scans

The Jobs queue has been updated to support project imports and the processing of remote-scan results in Code Insight as jobs. For more information, see Project Imports Now Running as Background Jobs and Processing of Remote-Scan Results in Code Insight Now a Background Job, respectively.

Changes to Job Types for Reports

The Job Type for the custom reports has been updated from the general term Custom Report to the actual name of the custom report. Additionally, the Job Type for the various standard and custom reports are now prefaced with the term “Report -”, as in Report - Project Report, Report - Audit Report, Report - <customReportName>, and so on.

New Column for Scan Server Name

The Jobs queue now includes a Scan Server column, which lists the Scan Server alias for each Project Scan and Project Re-Scan job type. For all other jobs (that is, jobs performed on the Code Insight Core Server), the value is N/A.
