Job Types and Filters Added for the Applying Policy at the Project and Global Levels
Two features introduced in this release run as jobs in the Jobs queue.
Job Type of Feature |
Feature Description |
Apply Policy - Project |
Applies current review policy associated with a specific project across all inventory in the project. See Forced Automatic Review by Policy Across All Published Inventory in a Project in this document. |
Apply Policy - Global |
Applies the selected review policy across inventory in all projects associated with the policy in the Code Insight instance. See Forced Automatic Review by Policy Across Published Inventory in All Projects in this document. |
You can filter the Jobs queue by either of these new job types.
You can now filter the Jobs queue to one or more of the Scan Server aliases (including disabled Scan Servers) listed in the Scan Server column. You cannot filter using the N/A (Core Server) value.
For complete information, refer to “Filtering the Jobs Queue by Column” in the Code Insight User Guide.
Improved Queue Management of Multiple Project Copy Jobs
In previous releases, when a Project Copy job was in progress or scheduled, a user could not trigger another Project Copy job for the same or another project.
Now, Project Copy jobs for the same and other projects can exist in the Jobs queue concurrently. The first copy job triggered will be the first one placed in Active state. The remaining copy jobs triggered continue in a Scheduled state and are run based on the appropriate queue order.
