Identifying Child Projects for a Given Project
Use this procedure to associate one or more projects as child projects of a given project.
Note:Ensure that each project that you want to identify as a child project has already been created.
To identify one or more projects as child projects of another project, do the following:

As Project Administrator, navigate to the Summary tab of the project for which you are identifying one or more child projects. (For navigation instructions, see Opening the Project Summary Tab.) |

From the Manage Project menu, select Edit Project. The Edit Project window opens. |

Select the Project Hierarchy tab. |

4.
|
On the Project Hierarchy tab, click Add Child Project. |
|
5.

From the Add Child Project dialog that is displayed, select the project you that want to identify as a child project of the current project. (For a description of this dialog and the fields available on the Project Hierarchy tab, see Edit Project: Project Hierarchy Tab.) |
Once you select the project, you are returned to the Project Hierarchy tab, which now lists the new child project.

Repeat steps 4 and 5 to add other child projects to the current project. |
