Name Search

Use the Name option to search licenses in the Code Insight Data Library by entering a string associated with the license name. To use this search criterion, input a string of at least three characters that appear in the license name into the associated Name field.

The search will be filtered to include only those licenses whose names contain the character string entered in the Name field.

Note:The search is case-insensitive, so it filters to all licenses that contain the entered character string, regardless of the upper or lower case used in the entered string.

To search for licenses by a name, do the following:

On the Global Component & License Lookup > Licenses tab, select the Name option.

2.

In the Name field, enter a string containing three or more characters—found in the name of the license(s) for which you are searching.

3.

Click the Search button.

Note:Consider the following information:

A string of at least three characters is required in the Name field to enable the Search button.

If the Name search does not provide a license you want to explore, try the Short Name, License ID, or External ID search instead. If you are still having trouble finding the license, it may be not present in the Code Insight Data Library or be stored as a custom license.
