Configure, Install, and Start on Linux

The following instructions describe how to use systemd to configure, install, and run the local license server as a Linux service:

Alternatively, you can configure, install, and run the license server as a Linux service using a SysV init runlevel system. To do so, follow the instructions in SysV Alternative for Installation on Linux instead of the instructions in this section.
