Special Migration-Specific Setting for LLS

You can choose to preserve license-distribution data during migration from the SA to the LLS. (See Migrating Trusted Storage with License-Distribution Preservation in the “Migrating Trusted Storage” chapter for details.) If you make this choice, change the default false value for the server.synCompatibility setting to true in the LLS’s producer-settings.xml file:

server.syncCompatibility=true 

This setting reconciles a time-unit discrepancy (resulting from the migration) in the timestamps used for synchronization operations. The setting is required to help ensure the following:

Synchronization from the back office works properly during migration to the LLS.

•

Synchronization to and from the back office continues to work properly after migration.
