The License Lifecycle: FlexNet Publisher Trusted Storage-Based Licensing
The FlexNet Operations license lifecycle is a repeating process of producer and customer activities, as depicted in the figure and described below.

Order/Entitle – Define a customer account’s rights to obtain licenses for your products. |

Deliver⁄Install – Deliver the application software to the customer and install that software. |

Activate – Deliver licenses to the customer. |

Return/Rehost – Manage license transfers from one user or system to another. |

Maintain/Update – Deliver software and license updates to the customer. |

|
Upsell/Renew – Renew customer licenses, or sell the customer additional product functionality. |
