Account and User Management
Enhancements in 2020 R1 for managing accounts and users include the following:

| • | Permission Enhancements to Allow Certain User/Account Edits |
The following default accounts have these restrictions:
| • | MYORG—Only the name can be updated. No other updates are permitted, nor can this account be deleted. |
| • | PORTAL_ORG_UNIT—The account cannot be updated or deleted. |
| • | UNKNOWN_ORG_UNIT—The account cannot be updated or deleted. |
Permission Enhancements to Allow Certain User/Account Edits
Previously, a user making changes to another user’s role and contact information required at least the permissions of the user being managed.
Now, to modify a user’s Contact Details, Additional Attributes, or Product Lines, the user’s role is required only to have View and Manage User permission. However, updating a user’s role in either the Edit A User or the Create An Account page still requires that the managing user’s role and associated accounts not only have the View and Manage User and the View and Manage Account permissions, but at least the same level of permissions as the user being updated. This applies for both the FlexNet Operations Producer Portal as well as the End-User Portal.
