Requesting Update Notifications

Devices must be registered in FlexNet Operations and have account ownership before they can make update requests. This can be done manually, through a device licensing capability request to FlexNet Operations (if licensing is being used) or using a device registration REST API to the Notification Server.

Communication to the Notification Server is only supported via REST.
