Expiring Entitlements Page
The End User Portal includes an Expiring Entitlements page (Activations & Entitlements > Expiring Entitlements). This page shows the expiring and expired entitlements for the accounts to which the current user belongs and gives special emphasis to those that are soon to expire. (Expired entitlements are not shown by default. End users can use on-page filters in the End-User Portal to include expired entitlements in the list.)
Tip:Lines that expire more than 200 days from the current date are not shown on the Expiring Entitlements page. Similarly, when expired entitlements are included, those lines that expired more than 200 days ago are not shown. This limit is configurable on the Producer Portal by changing the value for Renewal Look Ahead (System > Configure > FlexNet Operations > Renewals).
Highlight Colors on the Expiring Entitlements Page
The entitlement lines and maintenance lines closest to their expiration date are highlighted on the Expiring Entitlements page.
Producers determine which lines get special emphasis by specifying values for the system configuration settings, Renewal Critical (default: 30 days) and Expiring Window (default: 90 days). By default, expired lines and lines that expire in the next 30 days are highlighted in red, those that expire between 31 and 90 days are highlighted in yellow, and those that expire further out than 90 days are not highlighted.
End Users Can Send a Renew Request to Producers from the Expiring Entitlements Page
On the End-User Portal’s Expiring Entitlements page, end users can click a Request button to send an email message to the producer about their intent to renew selected entitlements. The intent-to-renew message is generated by the End-User Portal using the default variation of the email template, Renewal Intent for End Customer. The End-User Portal sends a copy of this message to the end user who clicked the Request button and to the producer at the address specified in the system configuration setting, Request Renewal Notification Email (System > Configure > FlexNet Operations > Renewals).
Important:The intent-to-renew email message is for communication purposes only; FlexNet Operations does not automatically renew the selected entitlements.
