The FlexNet Operations license lifecycle is a repeating process of producer and customer activities, as depicted in the figure and described below.

Order/Entitle—Define an account’s rights to obtain licenses for your products. |

Deliver⁄Install—Deliver the application software to the customer and install that software. |

Activate—Deliver licenses to the customer. |
|
•
|
Return/Rehost—Manage license transfers from one user or system to another. |
|
•
|
Maintain/Update—Deliver software updates to the customer. |
|
•
|
Upsell/Renew—Renew customer licenses, or sell the customer additional product functionality. |
