Exercise Prerequisites

Before you begin the exercises in this getting started section:

• FlexNet Operations seed data and demonstration database must be loaded

Important:These exercises require a FlexNet Operations database populated with demonstration data. Contact Flexera Support if demonstration data is not loaded.

• You must have a FlexNet Operations Producer Portal login and a role with permission to view and manage accounts and users, such as System Administrator
• You must complete the exercises in the section Getting Started with Entitlement Management
• The FlexNet Publisher Licensing Toolkit must be properly installed and configured

Important:Refer to the instructions in the FlexNet Publisher Installation Guide to download and install the licensing toolkit, and to the FlexNet Publisher Getting Started with Trusted Storage-Based Licensing for using the example files provided in the licensing toolkit.
