Creating a Producer

You can create a producer on the Producer Portal.

To create a producer

1. Click Products > Add Producer. This opens the Add Producer page.
2. Type a Producer ID.
3. Type a Producer Name. This value is what the End-User Portal shows to your users when they are choosing among producers.
4. Click Save.

The Producer Portal saves the producer with the ID and name you provide and shows the List Producers page. This producer is subsequently available as an option for setting a producer when you create or edit a download package.

Note:New producers are automatically set to Active status.
