What is Batch Activation?

To simplify activation, FlexNet Operations supports simultaneous activation of multiple entitlement line items, provided either

All line items pertain to the same certificate-based license model: nodelocked uncounted, nodelocked counted, floating uncounted, or floating counted.

•

For trusted activations, all line items must belong to the same account and must be either all retail licenses or all server licenses.

•

Or all line items pertain to the same custom license technology.

In other words, licenses for different customer accounts, trusted storage-based license models, or different certificate-based license models cannot be activated together. Products in the line items can vary. The line items need not share the same entitlement ID.

You may consolidate licenses generated during batch activation.
