Batch Rehost

A customer user can Batch Rehost for a group of products among various license servers to change the license count of products on different servers. For example, you could use Batch Rehost to change 20 licenses for Product 1 on Server A, to 10 licenses on Server A and 10 on Server B.

The Batch Rehost feature only works only counted licenses—that is, floating counted or nodelocked counted models.

To redistribute licenses for a group of products using Batch Rehost:

1.

Click Licenses Support > Licenses. The End-User Portal opens the License Activation page.

On the License Activation page, click Action > Batch Rehost. This opens the Batch Rehost page.

For Account, choose the account whose licenses you want to rehost, and click Next.

If desired, enter the common attributes you wish to assign to each of the redistributed licenses, and click Next.

5.

Add new hosts as needed.

6.

In Final Count, enter the number of copies to assign to each selected host. (The green arrow indicates the current host assignment. The green check mark indicates that the count has been changed.) Click Next.

7.

Review the summary page for your redistribution. If needed, click Back to correct any incorrect entries. If correct, click Generate. The licenses are redistributed.
