Emailing a License

A newly or previously generated license (certificate-based or custom) can be sent as an email attachment to one or more email addresses. The email attachment is sent as a file, by default called LicenseFile.lic

Your license file for product <XXX> is attached.

where <XXX> is the name of the Product.

The Ship To Email field contains the email address where the license should be sent.This field contains email addresses that were specified in the entitlement or during license generation. A Search button is displayed next to the Ship To Email field. Click the Search button to select an email address for one of the contacts in your organization. Additional email addresses can be entered, and multiple email addresses are formatted in a comma-separated list with no spaces.

If you have configured End-User Portal to support multiple languages, the Language for Email field allows you to select the language that the email will be sent. To send an email in a particular language, you must configure FlexNet Operations to support localization in that particular language.

After the email is sent, a confirmation message appears on the page.
