Managing Part Numbers
Many publishers use part numbers to identify their products. Part numbers are also instrumental in making products available for free trials in the End-User Portal.
During product packaging in FlexNet Operations, part numbers can be mapped to products, suites, and maintenance. A product, suite, or maintenance can be mapped to one or more part numbers; a part number can be mapped to only one product, suite, or maintenance.
Part numbers can be added into FlexNet Operations, or imported from a properly-formatted text file.
You can search for existing part numbers by number, product, license model, part numbers mapped to products, or part numbers mapped to license models.
