Creating and Deploying the Product
In this exercise, you create a product called PhotoPrint‑manual that uses the ManualTech license technology and ManualModel license model, then you deploy the product.
To create product PhotoPrint‑manual

1.

Click Products > Products. The Package Products page appears. |
|
2.
|
Click Add New Product. The Package Products | Create A Product page appears. |
|
3.
|
Under Create A Product, enter the product information: |
|
•
|
Product Name: Type PhotoPrint‑manual |
|
•
|
State: Note that the product is created in a Draft state. |
|
•
|
License Technology: Select ManualTech |
|
4.
|
Click Add Features. The Add Features To Product window opens. |
|
5.
|
In the Add Features To Product window, search for feature name equals Print. Feature Print is listed under Available Features. |
|
6.
|
In the Add Features To Product window, under Available Features, select Print,12.3. |
|
7.
|
Click Add ► to move feature Print,12.3 to Selected Features, then click Add. The window closes and the feature is added to product PhotoPrint‑manual. |

8.
|
Click Save. Note that product PhotoPrint‑manual and its version appear in the list on the right side of the Package Products page. This message appears: Product PhotoPrint‑manual successfully added. |

Click Next. The Package Products | Link License Models To Product page appears. |
|
10.
|
Click Link License Models. The Select License Models window opens. Search for and select ManualModel from Available License Models, then click Add ► to move it to Selected License Models. |

11.
|
Click Add. Product PhotoPrint‑manual is linked to the ManualModel license model and the window closes. |
|
12.
|
On the Package Products page, click Save. Note that product PhotoPrint‑manual is now listed under Products Linked To License Models. This message appears: License models linked successfully. |
To deploy product PhotoPrint‑manual
|
1.
|
Click Products > Products. The Package Products page appears. Search for product PhotoPrint‑manual and select its check box. |
|
2.
|
Click Change State ▼ and select Deploy from the drop-down menu. Click OK in the verification message. The Package Products | Deploy Products page appears for product PhotoPrint‑manual. |

3.
|
Click Deploy. The Package Products page shows that PhotoPrint‑manual is deployed. This message appears: Products deployed successfully. |
