Setting Up and Deploying the License Model
In this exercise, you set up and deploy the ManualModel license model.
To set up the manual license model

Click Administer > License Models. The Package Products – License Models page appears. |

Click Create New License Model. The Package Products – License Models page refreshes. |
|
3.
|
Under Select A License Technology, select ManualTech from the License Technology menu, then click Next. The Package Products – License Models page refreshes. |

4.
|
Under Create A License Model, enter the license model information. |
|

Description: Type Manual license model |
|
•
|
State: Note that the license model is created in a Draft state. |
|
•
|
License Technology: Note that this is set to ManualTech. |
|
•
|
Expiration: Use the default value of None. |
|
5.
|
Click Save to create the ManualModel license model. This message appears: License Model successfully created. |
To deploy the manual license model
|
1.
|
Click Administer > License Models. The Package Products – License Models page appears. Search for and select the ManualModel check box. |
|
2.
|
Click Change State ▼ and select Deploy from the drop-down menu. Click OK in the verification message that appears. In the License Models table, ManualModel is shown with a State of Deployed. |
