Export and Import Enhancements in 2022.11

The following enhancement to Data Export and Import functionality was added in the 2022.11 release.

Ability to Update Maintenance Product Name Using the Product Packaging Template

A new column has been added to the Product Packaging import template (PackageProducts.xlsx), which now enables producers to update the maintenance product name in bulk. (Import templates can be downloaded in the Producer Portal under Administer > Import Data Objects, from the Data Import Templates tab.)

To update the maintenance product name, producers provide the old maintenance product name in the new column OldMaintenanceName. This column is optional.

If no existing product is found in the FlexNet Operations database that matches the value provided in OldMaintenanceName, a new maintenance product will be created using the value in MaintenanceName.
