Security Issues Resolved in 2022.04

The following security issue was addressed in the 2022.04 release.

Clear Text Password No Longer Exposed

A potential information leakage issue has been addressed, where an encrypted password was identified as part of the HTML source of the Create License Technology page.

As a result of the fix, the “test connection” action on the page can now be performed only upon saving the changes when creating and updating the license technology.

If a user attempts to test the connection before saving their changes, an error message is displayed which prompts the user to save their changes to the license technology before continuing.
