Data Analytics Enhancements in 2024.05 (Early Access)
The Analytics Dashboard—available from the Analytics tab in the Producer Portal—has been updated to provide new insights into customer retention and churn risk.
The new visualizations include:
| • | Metric Tile “Devices”—Shows the total number of devices. This includes Cloud License Server (CLS) instances, local license servers, and standalone devices (devices that directly connect to FlexNet Operations). |
| • | Metric Tile “Served Devices”—The total number of served devices (devices that request licenses from a license server). |
| • | Renewal: Active Accounts by Business Region—Tracks and visualizes renewal and churn based on subscription license models, thereby helping producers gain insights into their customer retention KPI. It helps identify patterns and trends associated with customer departures, which impact their overall Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) goals. |
| • | Top Products by Devices—Shows how many devices use a particular product and visualizes changes in the device status over time, thereby providing clarity of how customers engage with your products. Devices include standalone devices, Cloud Licensing Service (CLS) instances and local license servers. |
