License Management Enhancements in 2024.01

The following enhancement for the management of licenses was added in the 2024.01 release.

FlexNet Embedded URL Configuration Now Set By Revenera

Setting the URL of the FlexNet Embedded server endpoint is a one-time activity which only needs to be performed at the initial setup of FlexNet Operations. Therefore, from the 2024.01 release onwards, the FlexNet Operations system administrator will no longer be able to set or modify the URL of the FlexNet Embedded server endpoint (previously accessible under System > Configure > Licensing > FlexNet Embedded URL). Instead, the URL will be set by Revenera during tenant provisioning. This change aims to avoid any unintentional modifications of the FlexNet Embedded URL.
