User Experience Enhancements in 2024.12
The following user experience enhancement was added in the 2024.12 release.
Additional Modification Details Recorded in Device Transaction History
(SWM-21003)
The 2024.11 release included an enhancement which enables users to view the modification activity for devices in the transaction history (see Transaction History Includes Details of Device Creation and Modification Events). Device modification activity included changes to the following information:
| • | Device ID/name |
| • | User name |
| • | Site name |
| • | Device description. |
In 2024.12, the list of events that are recorded in the transaction history for devices has been expanded. In addition to the information listed above, it now also includes the following:
| • | Removing a device |
| • | Returning a license for a device |
| • | Making a device obsolete. |
Tracking modification activity for devices provides valuable insights for ensuring accountability, identifying unauthorized changes, and maintaining a clear audit trail for security and compliance purposes.
