Linking Product Lines to User Accounts
When the product lines feature is enabled, FlexNet Operations End-User Portal filters what a customer user sees based on the product lines linked to the user account. Only line items that include products in product lines to which the user account is linked are visible.
Important:A user account cannot be linked to product lines until the user has been linked to an account.
To link product lines to a user account:
| 1. | On the Create User or Edit User page, click Actions > Link Product Lines. This button opens the Select Product Lines for the User page in a popup window. |
| 2. | On the Select Product Lines page, check the product lines you want to link, and click OK. |
Product lines are linked to the current user account when you click OK. It is only necessary to save the user account if you have made other changes to the user.
To remove product lines from a user account:
| 1. | On the Create User or Edit User page, check the product lines you want to remove and click Remove Product Lines. |
| 2. | Click OK to confirm the removal. |
