Transferring Hosts
Transfer Hosts allows you to transfer fulfillments from one or more hosts to a related account.
Note:When a host is moved, entitlements that belong to devices assigned to that host are moved as well. The result of the move is to either create new entitlements for the target account or to pool the line items—incrementing the counts of the target account's existing (and matching) entitlements by the counts on the hosts' entitlements that were moved.
To transfer hosts:

In the End-User Portal, click License Support > Hosts. On the Manage Hosts page you can select hosts to transfer. |

On the Manage Hosts page, select the hosts you want to transfer and click Transfer. This button opens the Transfer Hosts page. |

On the Transfer Hosts page, set the Target Account: |

a.
|
Click the Search Account button to open the Select Account page in a pop up window. |
|

Select the customer account to which you want to move the selected hosts. |
|
c.
|
Click OK. This button closes the Select Account window and returns you to the Transfer Hosts page. Note that the Target Account is now set to the account you selected. |

Next, choose a setting for Pool Line Items: |

|
Yes—If matching entitlements exist in the target account, those entitlements are incremented by the counts in the hosts’ entitlements. Otherwise, if no matching entitlements exist, new entitlements are created at the target account. |

•
|
No—The End-User Portal creates new entitlements at the target account, even if matching entitlements already exist. |

5.

Click Transfer. The portal queues the transfer for processing. |
Note:You can check the status of the host transfer job by its Job ID on the Host/Device Transfer Jobs page. To go to the Host/Device Transfer Jobs page, click Manage Licenses > Host/Device Transfer Jobs (listed under the Manage Hosts heading).
