Transfer Entitlements Wizard

Click Entitlements > List Entitlements by Order. This link opens the List Entitlements by Order page. |

Select the entitlement from the list. You can also search for entitlements based on specific criteria by |

Specifying some particular values in the simple search, like Entitlement ID Starts With |
|
•
|
Clicking Advanced Search, which lets you specify multiple search attributes. |

Target Account: click Search to select the account that is to receive the entitlement, or directly type in the account name. If there are unreturned licenses, continue with Step 5. If there are no activated licenses, continue with Step 6. |

There are some active fulfillments for line items in this entitlement. Would you like the system to automatically return them?
|
|
•
|
Yes: Operations returns all of the activated licenses. Continue with Step 6. |
|
•
|
No: The entitlement (or entitlement line item) cannot contain activated licenses. These existing fulfillments must be returned before transferring the entitlement (or entitlement line item). Click Cancel and go to Supporting Licenses to return the Fulfillments associated with this entitlement (or entitlement line item). |

Will the Target Account use the same entitlement ID and activation IDs that the source account used?

|
Yes: If you select this option, the new entitlement retains the values defined for the entitlement ID and activation IDs. The entitlement ID and activation IDs values defined in the originating entitlement are changed to reflect the action taken. |
Click Transfer. You are prompted that the entitlement is to be transferred to the new account. Continue with Step 8.

No: You are provided the opportunity to change the information. Continue with Step 7. |

Would you like the system to generate the entitlement ID and activation IDs?

•
|
Yes: Operations generates a new entitlement ID and activation IDs. Click Transfer and then continue with Step 8. |
|
•
|
No: Operations generates a new entitlement ID and activation IDs, but gives you the ability to change these values. Click Transfer and then continue with Step 8. |

The Creating an Entitlement page is displayed with the Entitlement ID and Activation ID fields populated with values based on your selections. You can either accept the values as they are or you can change them. The account defined in the Account field contains the name of the new account. Click Deploy to complete this action. |
