Local Trials

A local trial is one of two kinds of trusted activation that do not require a real-time response from the FlexNet Operations server when a product is activated. Local trials usually expire after a short time and are used to:

Allow evaluations of a product (trial)

•

Cover a situation in which an application machine loses contact with the license server system machine (emergency)

Local trial licenses cannot be rehosted, returned, or repaired.
