Making a Device Obsolete
You can make an active device obsolete from its default view for a device or server page. When a device is made obsolete, its licenses are unmapped and returned to the pool, and it becomes unable to acquire new licenses.
Note:The Obsolete Device and Obsolete Server options only appear in the Actions menu of a View Device, View Server or Cloud License Server Details page for users with roles specifically granted the End-User Portal permission Obsolete Devices/Servers.
