Map Entitlement and Activation IDs

When you self-register to create an End-User Portal account, you must provide an entitlement ID or activation ID (line item ID or web register key) to ensure that you are eligible to access the End-User Portal. If you have additional entitlement or activation IDs that you would like to activate or manage through the End-User Portal, you must map these IDs to your account after you log in.

Self-registered users can use the steps below to map line items, entitlements, or web register keys. Customer users can use the steps below to map only web register keys. The Map Activation IDs command is not available to other types of users. (See About Users for a short description of different End-User Portal user types.)

Once mapped, these items will be displayed on the Manage Entitlements page.

To map IDs to your account:

1. Log in with your End-User Portal account user name and password.
2. Click Activation & Entitlements > Claim Activation IDs. The End-User Portal opens the Claim Activation IDs page.
3. In the ID field, enter type an entitlement ID or activation ID and click OK.

If you map an entitlement ID, all of the activatable items on that entitlement will be accessible from your account. If you map an individual activation ID, the activatable item identified by that ID will be accessible from your account. There is no limit to the number of IDs that can be mapped to an account, but only one ID can be mapped at a time.
