Running the lmtransfer Utility

lmtransfer is one of the lmutil/lmtools utilities. To initiate transferring, the user runs lmtransfer from the command line or through lmtools:

lmtransfer vendorname -set dd-mmm-yyyy [hh:mm]

where vendorname is the vendor daemon that serves the licenses to be transferred. dd-mmm-yyyy is the Date of license to be expired. hh:mm is the time which is optional and specified in 24-hour format in the FlexEnabled application’s local time. If time is unspecified, the checkout lasts until the end of the given end date.

lmtransfer sampled -set 20-aug-2023 [14:00]
