SERVER Lines Enforcement
The optional PLAT=n keyword in the SERVER line allows you to enforce where the license server manager (lmgrd only) is allowed to run—based on the following host environments:

Syntax
The following displays the SERVER line with the PLATE Keyword, including host, hostid, and port:
SERVER host hostid [port] [PLATE=n]

Limitations
The usage of the PLAT=n keyword is subjected to the following limitations:
| • | It is not supported by Java and C# client applications |
| • | It is not applicable when using lmadmin as the license server manager. |
| • | The use of multiple PLAT=n keywords across different license files is not supported. |
| • | It is not supported in trusted storage-based licensing environment. |
| • | It is not supported by VCG (Vendor Certificate Generator) kits. |
