InstallAnywhere 2017

InstallAnywhere has two authoring modes: Project Wizard and Advanced Designer. You can use the Project Wizard in InstallAnywhere to quickly create a basic installer. The Advanced Designer has support for advanced installer configuration. When you start InstallAnywhere, it launches the Advanced Designer by default.

The general process for developing an InstallAnywhere project using either of these interfaces includes the following steps:

Step 1: Create New Project
Step 2: Set Project Information
Step 3: Add Pre-Install Actions
Step 4: Install Actions
Step 5: Add Post-install Actions
Step 6: Set Installer UI Options
Step 7: Configure the Project Uninstaller
Step 8: Build
Step 9: Test
