Delete Folder Action

You can use the Delete Folder action to delete a folder from the end user’s system.

Properties Tab

The Properties tab of the Delete Folder action customizer includes the following properties:

Original

Choose one of the following to specify whether the folder to delete is being installed, or already exists on the end user’s system.

•

Installed file—Select this option to delete a folder to be deployed by your installer. Then click Choose Target to open the Choose a Folder dialog box and select the folder you want to delete.

•

Existing file—Select this option to delete a folder that already exists on the target system, and enter the path (fixed or relative) and file name for that folder in the box.
