Viewing License Text

InstallAnywhere 2021

FlexNet Code Aware lets you view the text of licenses that are detected, but that are not automatically mapped to Software Pack Data Exchange (SPDX) licenses.

To view license text:

1.

From the Package Inventory report, scroll through the list of packages until you find the package that has a license that you want to view.

2.

Click the name of the license in the License column. If the license is recognized as an SPDX license, you are redirected to the SPDX website (https://spdx.org/licenses) for that license. If the license is not recognized as an SPDX license, the text of the license appears in another browser tab.

3.

When you finish viewing the license text, close the browser tab to return to the Package Inventory report.

Note:Do not close the browser because the tab containing the Package Inventory report will close as well.
