Searching and Filtering Package Inventory

Some reports contain many more packages than will fit on one panel of the Package Inventory report. If the report has too many packages to find the ones you want to analyze, use FlexNet Code Aware’s search and filter functions.

To search and filter inventory;

Locate the Search fields on the Package Inventory report:

Enter search criteria in the fields:

•

Keyword—Enter a keyword to search through the list of packages using the package name, license, and vendor fields.

•

CVE—Enter the specific Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) name to search for a vulnerability.

•

Copyright holder—Enter the name of the entity that holds the copyright to check your exposures from the identified packages.

Select the Boolean (and, or) criteria from the Apply Criteria dropdown list.

(Optional) To filter the list of packages by severity level, select one or more severity levels to include in the search. By default, all severities are selected.

(Optional) To filter the list of packages by license type, select one or more license types to include in the search.

Click Filter to execute the search. The list displays only those packages that meet your search and filter criteria.
