InstallShield includes support for several types of path variables:
| • | Predefined Path Variables |
| • | Standard Path Variables |
| • | Registry Path Variables |
| • | Environment Path Variables |
Predefined path variables define standard Windows directories; this type of variable cannot be renamed or modified. The standard, registry, and environment types of path variables are custom variables that you can create and define as needed.
