A brush specifies a solid color, a gradient, or an image for various elements of the wizard interface, such as the background of wizard pages and controls. InstallShield lets you add custom brushes to your project and then apply those brushes to various wizard interface elements.
To define a custom brush:
1. | In the View List under User Interface, click Wizard Interface. |
2. | In the Wizard Interface explorer, right-click Brushes and then click Add Brush. InstallShield adds a a new brush under Brushes. Rename the brush as needed. |
3. | Select the brush and then configure its settings in the right pane. |
Once you have added a brush, you can select it for various background-related settings in the Wizard Interface view. For example, to specify the brush that you want to use by default for the background of the navigation area of the wizard pages, use the Navigation Background setting.
