Saving .msi Files as Transforms

Project: This information applies to the Transform projects.

When you are editing an .msi file in Direct Edit mode, you can save the file as an .mst file.

To save an .msi file as an .mst file:

On the File menu, click Save As. The Save As dialog box opens.

In the Save as type box, select Windows Installer Transforms (*.mst).

All the changes made since the last save are saved to the .mst file specified.
