Opening the Installation Designer

Edition: The Microsoft App-V Assistant is included in the Virtualization Pack.

The Installation Designer tab displays the views in the InstallShield interface. You can use this tab to configure your Windows Installer package. To open a view in the Installation Designer, click the Installation Designer tab.

Note: The Installation Designer and the Microsoft App-V Assistant run simultaneously. Any changes that you make in one are reflected instantly in the other.
