Showing or Hiding the Virtualization Assistants

Edition • The Microsoft App-V Assistant is included in the Premier Edition of InstallShield.

If you want to hide the Microsoft App-V Assistant, you can hide it so that its tab is not displayed in the InstallShield interface. Similarly, if the Microsoft App-V Assistant is hidden, you can choose to display it.

To show or hide the Microsoft App-V Assistant:

On the View menu, click Microsoft App-V Assistant.

When the Microsoft App-V Assistant’s command has a check mark next to it, the tab for that Assistant is shown in the InstallShield interface. When the check mark is not displayed, the Microsoft App-V Assistant is hidden.
