InstallShield 2016 ยป Options Dialog Box
On the Validation tab of the Options dialog box, you can specify the type of validation you want InstallShield to perform after a successful build.

To perform validation every time that you build an installation project, select this check box and then select the check box of one or more validation suites. You can also browse for a new validation module (.cub file). |
Perform merge module validation using |

To perform validation every time that you build a merge module, select this check box and then select the check box of one or more validation suites. You can also browse for a new validation module (.cub file). |
Click the Customize button to specify which internal consistency evaluators (ICEs) should be used for a specific validation suite. For more information, see Specifying Which ICEs, ISICEs, ISVICEs and ISBPs Should Be Run During Validation.
