The SetExtendedErrInfo function sets error information, which can be retrieved by GetExtendedErrInfo.

Syntax

SetExtendedErrInfo ( szScriptFile, nLineNumber, nError );

Parameters

SetExtendedErrInfo Parameters
Parameter	Description
szScriptFile	Specifies the script file in which the error occurred. To specify the current script file (that is, the script file that contains the call to SetExtendedErrInfo), pass the reserved identifier __FILE__.
nLineNumber	Specifies the line number in which the error occurred. To specify the current line number (that is, the line number of the call to SetExtendedErrInfo), pass the reserved identifier __LINE__.
nError	Specifies the error code for the error.

Return Values

SetExtendedErrInfo Return Values
Return Value	Description
>= ISERR_SUCCESS	The function successfully set the error information.
< ISERR_SUCCESS	The function failed to set the error information.
