Specifying Compression Settings and Setup Launcher Options

Release Configuration Panel

In the Release Configuration panel, you can specify whether to compress all, none, or some of the files in your installation project.

For the tutorial:

Select Compress all files.

Setup Launcher Panel

The Setup Launcher panel lets you specify whether to create a Setup.exe setup launcher, and whether to include the Windows Installer 3.1 engine with your installation. The Windows Installer engine installation is necessary for target systems that have older versions of Windows Installer.

For the tutorial:

Leave the default settings selected.

For this step, leave all the defaults selected.
