Specifying the IIS Host Header Name for a Web Site

InstallShield lets you specify the host header name to identify an IIS Web site that is installed during your installation. Host headers (also known as domain names) enable you to assign more than one Web site to an IP address on a Web server.
To specify a host header name for a Web site:

In the View List under Server Configuration, click Internet Information Services. |

In the Web Sites explorer, select the Web site whose host header name you want to specify. |
|
3.
|
For the Host Header Name setting, type the host header name that you want to use. For example: |
www.mycompany.com
