Customizing Minimal Wizard Pages

InstallShield enables you to customize the themes for Minimal Wizard pages. The customized themes are also applicable for the secondary dialogs shown during installation.

Minimal Wizard Pages area also allows to customize the caption, background color of the wizard pages, and icons for the close and minimize buttons.
Individual wizard pages allow additional customizations as highlighted below:

| • | Specifying license file or URL |
| • | Option to choose install directory |
Applying a Text Style to Text in Minimal Wizard Pages
The Styles area of the Wizard Interface view lets you configure sets of formatting characteristics that you can apply to one or more parts of the wizard interface to quickly change its appearance. Below are the default text styles supported based on Dark and Light themes:

| • | Light Theme - HeaderLight, CaptionLight, and BodyLight |
The styles mentioned above specify the default font sets and text styles applied to text on Minimal Wizard Pages. These styles can be customized further according to Installation author needs. Note that there are no custom styles supported at this point of time for Minimal Wizard Pages.
Choosing Control Theme for Minimal Wizard Pages Setup
There are two control themes supported by default for Minimal Wizard Pages setup based on theme chosen. These are used to control the visual appearance of buttons on Minimal Wizard Pages setup. Properties

There are no custom control themes supported for Minimal Wizard Pages.
Choosing the Icons for the Minimal Wizard Pages
Minimal Wizard Pages area allows to customize the icons for the product logo, close, and minimize buttons. Also the SupportFiles area contains all default theme specific icon files shown on the Minimal Wizard Pages for 100, 150, and 200 scale factors.
Limitations
The limitations to the Minimal Wizard Pages support in Suite project are:
| • | Customization to Minimal Wizard Pages layout is not supported. Adding/Deleting of pages and controls are not allowed. |
| • | Specifying the actions for the button clicks on Minimal Wizard Pages are not supported. |
| • | Password protection for your installation is not currently supported. |
| • | Progress on the task bar during setup installation is not supported. |
| • | Preview of Minimal Wizard Pages in InstallShield IDE is not supported on Windows 7. |
