The MSI to MSIX Conversion Wizard helps you to convert a MSI to MSIX package.

To convert from MSI to MSIX:

1.

On the Welcome panel, click Next.

2.

Click Browse and locate to specify the location of the MSI file.

3.

Click Next.

4.

Enter the Project Name.

5.

Click Browse and to store the Data File to a location.

6.

Click Finish. The Basic MSI project type opens.

Note:The MSI file is built automatically through the Basic MSI project type.
